I was born in Ogden, Utah, but my parents promptly brought me to Texas. In high school, I extensively studied the burgeoning CG field, winning a VICA State Championship in their 3D Animation competition. I started working in the Print industry as a graphic designer as I saved my pennies for a big change.
I moved to Florida and attended Full Sail University. Hokey name, but serious business. 90 hours a week for two and a half years teaches you to be self- motivated and to appreciate your free time when you get it. After I graduated, I worked on an Indian Telugu Cinema feature, Sri Anjaneyam, as a Character TD and Compositor. I decided to support my presidential candidate by working for a local campaign headquarters for the election cycle of 2004.
I then moved back to my home town, Fort Worth, Texas to help support my family in a time of need. Old habits die hard and I found myself as a graphic designer for a small, family owned print shop. In 2007, I got married to my beloved Anna. I never knew life could be so sweet.
Economy is paramount in a small business, and things were not looking so good. Due to a lack of business and rising prices, I have recently been laid off. Now that family matters are settled, I have refocused my efforts on my ideal career. I have begun an overhaul of my website, begun working with my childhood friend Tyler, on an XNA based project, and am trying to rebuild my body of work and portfolio. Positive energy is in the air, and I can feel change on the winds. Good things are on the way.
