Each of the following rigs has a list of credits and a brief description on an annotation node. Feel free to use this file for any personal work you might want to do. All I ask in return is for you to give credit to the appropriate people for the work provided.

The files below are for use with Maya 8.x. There's no reason I can think of that they won't work in 4.x and up, so I have supplied them in .ma format so you can change it to your version and see if it works.

Model: This model was released in one of the CGTalk Proton Packs several years ago.

This rig was designed to be animated in a layered manner. By turning control groups on and off you can control the resolution of animation. Check the main Trans node for rig display controls.

There is an independent flipPivot control object used to move the center of mass.

Feel free to use this rig in any personal work you would like to do, but please give CGTalk credit for the model.

Model: PzKpf IV Loki from DreamPod9's Gear Kreig Role Playing and Table Top Miniatures universe. This is a concept model for an as yet unrealized RTS mod. All UV's are proper and ready for texturing.

This is a pretty simple rig. Most of the geometry is parented to the joints, however the pistons in the legs and the arms are bound. There is a scaleGrp directly under the masterGrp and parent to the main control.

The automation that occurs on the feet can be controled by selecting the feet and adjusting the SetDrivenKeys. This drives a system of point constraints for the IK's present on the toe, heel, ball, and main leg. You can view these targets by selecting the foot and turning on "showTargets."

Check back in from time to time. I'm always working on something new, and once it's finished I will post it here.
